50th post- Super Bowl Wrapup

Published by bostonpride under sports, stuff Edit This

Well this will be my 50th post, so I should be getting a paycheck for 50 bucks, but my payrate was changed so now I have to get 2000 views before I get paid. Anyways, I wanted to talk about yesterday’s amazing Super Bowl game. Super Bowl XLIII was one of the most exciting game’s I have ever seen, without a doubt. I do not know if it was the best super bowl ever, since I haven’t seen them all, but it is definitely up there for me. I was personally pulling for the Cardinals to win, but I was happy with how well they did (final score was Steelers 27 to the Cardinals 23). Larry Fitzgeral was almost a ghost in the first half, but he got two touchdowns in the second half, including a huge 64 yard breakout for the go ahead touchdown with a little over two minutes left in the game. Unfortunately, the Cards left 2 minutes on the clock, and that was enough time for the Steelers to make a great drive and end up scoring a touchdown to give them the lead. The Cardinals got the ball back and had a chance to score, but Kurt Warner had the ball knocked out of his hands and the Refs ruled it a fumble. Personally, I think it was an incomplete pass, which would have made it the Cardinals ball again, but the Refs didn’t. What I thought was strange was the fact that the officials didn’t even review the play. It was a huge play, the deciding factor of the game, and they didn’t even call a booth review. If the play had been overturned and ruled an incomplete pass, it would have been Cardinals ball again, plus with the 15 yard penalty for Farrior taking off his helmet they would have been on the 29 yard line. That would have been enough of a chance for the Cardinals to pull off the win. Whatever.  Speaking of controversies, today.com ripped me off with my payrate. I should be getting fifty bucks in the mail after this post, but instead, I will never be paid. They say that there are ways to increase traffic to your domain, but there is no way I am going to get thousands of people to go to my site. THANKS TODAY.COM : )
