Congrats Barack
Change. Hope. A New Chance. This is all we were promised by our newly-inaugurated president, Barack Hussein Obama. Let’s hope he wasn’t just trying to get our votes and he actually fulfills these promises. Anyways, congratulations to Barack for doing all he has done, and for now being the most powerful man in the United States government. With the exception of slightly stumbling on the oath, he delivered a eloquent and powerful speech on Inauguration day. Oh, and by the way, some idiots were claiming that Barack wasn’t the president because he made a mistake on the oath. These people obviously don’t know anything about the consitution or the way our government works. Obama was president at noon on January 20, with or without saying the oath. But, just to be safe, Obama repeated the oath flawlessly in private later that day. I thought the ceremony itself was very well done. It was very extravagant and exciting. I watched it on tv, obviously. I was not one of the two million who swarmed into our nation’s capital for the historic inauguration. The performance by Yo-Yo Man and company was great (although it was a recording, NOT LIVE, due to cold weather). The poem read by Professor Alexander of Yale has been criticized a lot. However, if you google the poem and read the actual lyrics, it is a good poem. Reading it makes it seem a lot better than when she read it. Also, the lady who sang was good (so I have been told). I do not have much taste for that kind of music, but people said it was good so whatever. All in all, the inauguration was great, good luck to Obama, and I am hoping he will fulfill at least half of what he promised. Thanks and sorry for the ten day absence, I am still getting over my anger at Today.com for ripping me off. Keep reading and email this link to people so I can get more hits.
