Wade makes his case for MVP

Published by bostonpride at 2:54 am under Uncategorized Edit This

Dwyane Wade is leading the NBA in points with almost 29 points a game. Thats right, he is ahead of Kobe, ahead of LeBron, ahead of everyone. The flash is leading his Heat to a much better season than last year. Today the Heat pulled out a victory in overtime thanks to 37 points  by Wade. Unfortunately, the Heat happened to beat the Warriors, giving the Warriors yet another loss. The final score of today’s game was 130-129, in the Heat’s favor. You can’t blame the Warriors for not trying though, newcomer Jamal Crawford put up 40 points on 50% shooting for Golden State. Jackson had a very weak game, shooting 2 for 11 from the floor. Biedrins had another solid night, with 17 points and 15 boards. Biedrins is currently second in the league in rebounds, behind only Dwight “Superman” Howard. Dwight has replaced Shaq as Superman. Anyways, several Warriors had solid nights. Maggette had 29 points, and Wright put in 15 points of his own. The defense was not there tonight for the Warriors, however, and this led to yet another loss. The offensive production was there, but they were out-gunned by the Miami Heat. I think it was a fun game though, it was exciting, fast paced, and action packed. Dwyane Wade is one of my favorite players so it is always fun to see him do well.

Also, the Celtics beat the Magic for their ninth straight win. The C’s are showing why they are the NBA champions (although those Lakers look pretty good too). I wouldn’t be surprised if it was another Celtics-Lakers matchup in the finals, hopefully with the same result. Celtic Pride
