World Series Game 1 and such
I cannot possibly express in the confines of this blog how happy I am that the Rays lost today. I didn’t think that the Phillies had it in them, but I guess I was wrong (Thank God). I think the hero of the game was obviously Chase Utley on the Phillies. He hit a two run homer, got a stolen base (free tacos for everyone in America), and made key plays defensively. It was a close game but I think the fact that the Phillies won in Tampa proves that they can definitely win at home. My prediction, and I am hesitant to say this, is Phillies win in six games. I understand that the Rays are a deeper team, have better pitching, better baserunning, better defense, and better management, but I think the Phillies can pull this one out. The Phillies need their big names to step up (Ryan Howard needs to stop striking out) and they can bring a championship back to Philadelphia. Also, I will start posting parts of a ten page story I wrote for a morality class. I think its pretty good. So look for that tomorrow or sometime soon. Thanks.
